A habit of eating out could be doing a number of health risks in our body. These are some of the effects of fast food on the body: First, headache, eating foods filled with sodium, like many fast foods, can increase your risk for headaches. A study, published in this month’s Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, found that teenagers and kids consumed far more calories in fast-food and other restaurants than they did at home. The numbers were alarming: eating out was associated with taking in as many as 160 extra calories daily for younger kids and as many as 310 calories daily for teens. That information is troubling because obesity is a serious problem for children around the world. Little did we know, fast food restaurants are costly than those home-made foods which are more healthier and we can reduce the preservatives added to the foods. Fast food restaurants are somewhat unhealthy because it contain higher amount of unwanted nutrients like salt, fats and etc.
In general, food prepared in home are much healthier than those we are buying in fast foods. Not all fast food are serving unwanted nutrients in our body. But most of these can be found in those fast food restaurants. Unlike in homemade foods, we can limit the carbohydrates, calories and etc intake to avoid health risks.
